Review Exchange Summit Americas 2018

"Great moments are born from great opportunities" this quote from Herb Brooks was the introduction to the presentation of Todd Albers, Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and is the perfect summary of this year’s Exchange Summit Americas in Miami, where more than 100 delegates from more than 20 countries came together to discuss the latest developments in E-Invoicing and the digitization of the P2P process. The need for global interoperability and standardization were the key topics and theme of a high level panel discussion. An introductory blockchain workshop as well as dedicated meetings by the Business Payments Coalition and OpenPEPPOL complemented the 3 day agenda.

The conference program (see below on this page) offered a great variety of several case studies, delivering first-hand experiences, panels as well as interactive peer-to-peer round-table sessions. View the presentations here:

The very positive feedback from all parties involved showed clearly the need for a dedicated platform to share best practices and ideas. The Exchange Summit Americas has established itself as a key event for the E-Invoicing community where all relevant topics are being covered. We say thank you to all participants, speakers and partners that made the 3rd edition of the Exchange Summit Americas a huge success and look very much forward to seeing you next year.

"It was a great pleasure to be on the Exchange Summit Americas. I do believe that we will manage to improve a lot our current mode of operation in that regard due to the good sharing we´ve managed to do during this excellent summit. You have done a great job and are key to the paperless journey all over the world and now, mostly in Americas." - Viviane Assis, Nokia

"The Exchange Summit provides an excellent networking forum for remaining connected to developements in the electronic document exchange network and for collaborating with experts from around the world. It is inspiring." - Tom Jones, LBMX Inc.

"Exchange Summit provides a unique opportunity to understand the status of e-invoicing globally and to glimpse the future. I recommend attending." - Chris Hogg, Cumulo9 Limited
